Manny's Ceramic Pro Touch: a website that books itself, and a bid desk that opens doors.

A Fort Lauderdale ceramic-coating and detailing business wanted two things: a website that handled customers on its own, and a way into commercial and government construction work. Crossover repaired and now manages the site, built an AI assistant that answers, quotes and books, and runs the subcontractor outreach and bid submissions on the owner's behalf.

The challenge

A one-man shop that needed to be two businesses

Manny is a master-certified coating installer on the detailing side and runs a crew for junk removal, site cleanup and post-construction cleaning on the other. Both sides lost time to the same problem: every inquiry, quote and booking went through his phone, and the WordPress site he had could not carry any of it. Growing into commercial and public work meant finding bids, registering with general contractors and answering invitations — work that does not happen while you are coating a car.
He needed a site that worked when he did not, and someone to run the bid desk.
  • Website in need of repair, no automation behind it
  • Every quote and booking handled by hand on the owner's phone
  • No presence with general contractors or bid platforms
  • No NAICS-based positioning for public work
  • Dealership and commercial outreach with no system behind it
  • Bids and invitations arriving with no one to package them
The approach

Let the site sell. Let Crossover bid.

Fix the front door first — a working site with an assistant that books — then build a repeatable bid desk: positioning, outreach, registration, submission.

What was deployed

A front door that books, and a bid desk behind it

Built and run by the same person — the founder of Crossover.
01
Website repair & management
WordPress site repaired, secured and kept updated; new Liquid PPF sections — overview, four packages, film-vs-liquid comparison and FAQ — added for the coating business.
02
AI assistant
A chat agent on the site that answers questions, quotes packages and books appointments — proven with real customer conversations before launch.
03
Positioning for public work
NAICS codes mapped to what the crew actually does (junk and debris removal, site cleanup, post-construction cleaning, janitorial), a one-page capability sheet and a cover letter for submissions.
04
Subcontractor outreach
Cold-call script and a “We're Ready to Join Your Crew” email template; three GMass campaigns plus ~20 direct emails to Florida general contractors, with phone follow-up on the company's behalf.
05
Bid desk
Bid packages found, forwarded and submitted: ConstructConnect submissions (water-reclamation expansion, conference-room renovations, stormwater conveyance), GC invitations on retail, VA and municipal projects, and a county fleet solicitation.
06
Vendor registrations
Registered as a subcontractor with general contractors — and secured a direct “send us a proposal, no prequalification required” invitation on a Miami mall project.

In their words

“I think we have a great chance”

The best sign a bid desk is working is when the owner starts forwarding opportunities himself. By October 2025 Manny was sending in city projects near his home with the code requirements already checked — and the desk did the rest.
“What's up brother — I saw this opportunity just hit my email, very close to my home. Have all the code requirements. I think we have a great chance…”
